Beauvais is not really a Paris airport
It is roughly 85 km north of the city, which is why the cheap fare you found online is only half the journey. The shuttle bus leaves on its own schedule and puts you at Porte Maillot, still some way from wherever you are actually staying, usually with cases.
A private transfer turns that into one leg. The driver is in the arrivals hall with a name board, the car goes to your address, and the price was agreed before you flew, tolls included, unchanged by the traffic on the A16.
